pokemon-team.com has no accounts and does not sell personal data. It uses the team text you submit to generate or complete a team, while its infrastructure providers process limited operational data needed to deliver and protect the service.

Who operates this service

Team text

When you generate or complete a team, the Pokémon Showdown team text you provide is sent to the service and processed to return a result. The app does not intentionally save that text after the request, and it is not written to an app database or intentionally included in app logs.

Operational data

Google Cloud provides hosting and infrastructure, and Cloudflare provides network and security services. In operating the service, they may process data such as your IP address, browser user agent, request timing and status, and security or diagnostic logs. This data is used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and investigate problems.

Pokémon sprites

Pokémon sprites load directly from Pokémon Showdown. Your browser therefore contacts play.pokemonshowdown.com and sends the connection information ordinarily needed to fetch an image, such as your IP address, user agent, and the requested file.

Cookies

The app does not use account or advertising cookies. If Cloudflare Bot Fight Mode or another Cloudflare bot-management feature is enabled, Cloudflare may set the necessary __cf_bm security cookie to identify and manage automated traffic. Cloudflare says this cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. See Cloudflare’s cookie guidance.

Retention

Team text is intended to exist only for the time needed to process your request. Operational and security data is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations, subject to the retention settings and policies of Google Cloud and Cloudflare. Data may be kept longer when necessary to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, or comply with law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of personal data, or to object to certain processing and complain to a data-protection authority. Email the address above to make a request. Because the service has no accounts and holds limited operational data, it may not always be possible to connect a request to particular records; enough information may be requested to identify relevant data and verify the request.

Changes

This notice may be updated as the service or its providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
